Receptionist (Llano County MH Center)

Help us help others:

The Receptionist will support counselors, physicians, staff, and individuals in the Mental Health Center Clinic.  This person will work with the Office Coordinator to cover in person customer services of reception area and all telephone traffic including receiving and routing phone calls and messages appropriately.  The Receptionist and Office Coordinator will also coordinate meetings, collect payments, initiate paperwork, and complete a multitude of various administrative duties to keep the office running smoothly.   This compassionate, caring, and supportive team member will connect with the HHMHDD staff and individuals to provide optimum healthcare and contribute to the overall wellbeing of members of the community living with mental health challenges.   

You will get to:

  • Maintain a physical presence at reception and provide customer service for all incoming individuals and phone traffic for the office.
  • Maintain data in the electronic medical records and initiate appropriate consumer paperwork.
  • Route incoming and outgoing correspondence and perform daily data entry.
  • Set up teleconferencing meetings and manage schedules for team. 
  • Complete reports assigned.
  • Write and document articulately while using correct grammar so that documentation is clear and valuable.
  • Maintain compliance with all client data security control measures.
  • Educate and instruct individuals served.

You'll definitely need:

  • High school diploma, GED, or competency test with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • To complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training.
  • To maintain a valid Texas State Driver's License.
  • To have current automobile insurance and the ability to travel.
