Purpose

At Hill Country MHDD Centers our purpose is to help people have positive control over the life they desire and who are valued for their contributions to their communities. We provide services for adult and child behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance abuse, crisis care, and justice involved services. Our goal is to focus on each person and help them create the life they want to live.

We serve individuals throughout 19 counties of the greater Texas Hill Country region which includes: Bandera, Blanco, Comal, Edwards, Gillespie, Hays, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Llano, Mason, Medina, Menard, Real, Schleicher, Sutton, Uvalde and Val Verde. With 22 locations including 15 Mental Health Clinics we serve approximately 816,000 in a 22,714 square mile area

The Service Coordination Team Lead, under direction of the Regional Director of Service Coordination, is responsible for providing valuable support to Service Coordinators through modeling, mentoring, and hands-on assistance, driving LIDDA performance through running of A/B reports, meeting with Service Coordinators to review performance and strategize improvement, and acting as a mentor and role model to Service Coordinators in all aspects of behavior.

The Next Step LPHA (Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts) position is funded through a Health and Human Services Grant in collaboration with the Crisis Center of Comal County and NB Housing Partners. This position is responsible for providing services and support to adults with mental health conditions who are without consistent and safe housing to reach their vision of recovery.

The ICM/Wraparound Facilitator will support the team as they implement the plan and monitor its success. This position will require some early evenings. 


The Inpatient Care Specialist on the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) assists the treatment team, to include Psychiatrists, RN's, LVN's, QMPH's, and other unit staff, in ensuring that the basic needs of people in service on the unit are met. Observes and monitors clients with regard to medication, meals, hygiene, sleeping, and behavioral needs. Provides verbal and written reports on each person in service to the Nurse in charge on each shift.


The Office Coordinator, under the direction of the Regional Director of Service Coordination, is responsible for the overall administrative duties of the LIDDA office site. Office Coordination is a customer-focused and customer-driven position requiring a highly motivated and compassionate can-do attitude.

The MCOT Lead position provides primary supervision to the MCOT, overseeing prevention, intervention, and postvention care. This position works with all MCOT staff, MH clinic staff, law enforcement, and other agencies within the community. This position exercises extensive independent judgment and requires flexibility in schedule for after-hours and weekend shifts. This position will monitor hospital admissions and discharge of individuals recommended for inpatient psychiatric care. This position is responsible for coordinating expedited intake services as clinically indicated. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will directly support one of our physicians by collecting vital signs, documenting medical histories, and detailing an individual's physical and mental status and needs. The CMA will coordinate and maintain medical, discharge, and authorization records while maintaining HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
